VSH is so lucky to have an outstanding group of techs. They are what make this place what it is! They are well trained, highly skilled, and extremely knowledgeable about so many aspects of veterinary medicine. There is not anyone of them that I would not have complete faith in to take care of little Bloopis or Marvin. Most of all they love their patients, and it shows!! I am so proud of them.

The Veterinary Technicians at VSH are an indispensable part of my practice life. They are highly trained, motivated, caring individuals who are typically very easy to work with. I like to be as efficient as possible so I can get home and spend some time with my family and the techs help that happen on a consistent basis. I have worked most closely with Dak, who could probably pass at being a very good Veterinarian with his wealth of knowledge, and think he is an incredible example of what techs should strive for in their profession. Thanks for all your help!

My first shout out is to the awesome ladies of the Statlab. Mindy, Penny, Barb, and Heather do an incredible job getting the results to us that make our jobs possible. They are always willing to help out with our really sick patients even if it isn’t a true Stat. They are extremely patient explaining test procedures and culture results. The lab is always spotless and working smoothly which is a huge job given the complex equipment that they work with. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
We also could not save patients without our amazing ER and ICU staff. Nancy, Krystal, and Nicole really went above and beyond to cover shifts this summer when we were short-staffed. They put up with long hours and unpredictable schedules with grace. They made it possible to provide excellent care to our patients and owners. We have also welcomed some wonderful new technicians to our ER service. Heidi and Mike have jumped into their jobs with enthusiasm and the ability to pick up information quickly and become part of the team. We are also thrilled to welcome Pam back to ER. Of course their care would be futile without being able to transfer their patients to our equally skilled ICU and INC staff. Tracy does an excellent job with patient care (and giving snacks to my dogs), and where would we be without Devon’s gentle guidance in all things nosocomial and OSHA related? Seriously, Devon puts in tons of extra work improving protocols, reducing nosocomial infections, and fixing the Nova. We are lucky to have her.

Thank you all for your tireless (and often thankless) efforts to help our patients. Although I don’t say it enough, you are amazing people. VSH couldn’t have accomplished all we have without you.
- Josh Jackson, DVM, DACVS (aka Dr. J)
I have worked at many hospitals over the years and none surpass the quality of technical staff of VSH. It is a pleasure to work with such highly skilled, dedicated, animal loving individuals. We are very, very lucky.
- Tammy L. Stevenson, DVM, DACVIM (Neurology)
Thank you to all the techs. Without you we could not provide the care, the love, and the healing that we do. Thank you for all the hard work which makes VSH such a high quality state-of-the art hospital.
