Dermatology
Dermatology services include intradermal skin testing (for allergies), laser therapy/treatment to remove superficial skin growths, video-otoscopy to evaluate the ear canal and ear drums, therapeutic bathing, hyposensitization vaccine design for allergies, bacterial and fungal culture, biopsies, and cytology.
Our board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Laura Stokking, has a special interest in the diagnosis and management of infectious diseases such as MRSA, other resistant bacterial and fungal infections, and breed-specific dermatological diseases. Dr. Stokking treats all species of pets, not just dogs and cats.
Dr. Stokking is actively involved in clinical trials to study ways to improve the quality of life for the allergic patient, and to advance dermatologic therapies in multiple species. Rest assured, your pet’s skin health is our priority.
