VSH will again be sponsoring the Morris Animal Foundation's Canine Cancer Campaign by attending The 6th Annual San Diego Canine Cancer Walk.  The goal is to raise $75,000 to support research studies in finding a cure for canine cancer.

Saturday, August 22nd was a day for dog lovers and pet celebrations at the Doggie Street Festival at Liberty Station. The festival brings together pet lovers and animal adoption agencies every year, shedding light on homeless animals and the need for adopters and fosters.

We had a great time interacting with the Rancho Bernardo Community at the North San Diego Business Chamber's 27th Annual RB Alive! street fair.  There were numerous vendors with plenty of different items and activities to offer the attendees.

Sunday, March 29th, the San Diego Humane Society held their 16th annual Walk for Animals Paws in the Park fundraiser at Kit Carson Park in Escondido.  More than 1,500 animal lovers attended and at least $120,000 was raised to support homeless animals. One of the most enjoyable aspects of participating in community events like this is seeing past and present patients.

Saturday, March 21, 2015 was a beautiful sunny day at Admiral Baker Park for the 2nd Annual Navy Woof Walk.  Over 400 people registered and many others stopped by to participate in this wonderful event to raise funds for Navy Quality of Life Programs, benefiting local San Diego Sailors and their family members.
