Crystal Garnett

Dr. Crystal Garnett is a board-certified veterinary oncologist who integrates Western and Eastern medicine to provide a comprehensive, whole-body approach to care.

She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Missouri in 2012 and completed a small animal rotating internship at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. She then completed her oncology residency at the University of California Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and became board certified in oncology in 2016 through the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine.

After relocating to San Diego, Dr. Garnett established and led the oncology service at a multi-specialty hospital as its first oncologist.

Following a shoulder injury in 2018, she experienced the benefits of acupuncture firsthand, which led her to pursue certification in veterinary acupuncture through Chi University.

Dr. Garnett later founded Kindred Path Vet, a mobile practice focused on delivering integrative, relationship-based care in the home. Her approach combines conventional oncology with acupuncture, herbal medicine, and nutritional support to help manage pain, reduce treatment side effects, and improve quality of life.

In addition to cancer care, she treats patients with arthritis, neurologic conditions, gastrointestinal disease, and other chronic illnesses.

Outside of work, Dr. Garnett enjoys yoga, Pilates, reading, strength training, and traveling in her RV with her three longhaired miniature dachshunds.
