About
Dr. Elizabeth (Beth) Kollar is a graduate of UC Davis, where she earned a BS in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior in 2001, and her DVM in 2005. Following veterinary school, she completed a small animal rotating internship at San Francisco Veterinary Specialists in 2006. Dr. Kollar also completed a post-doctoral fellowship in the McGowan Institute of Regenerative Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Kollar joined the SAGE hospitals in the Bay Area in 2013 and worked as an ER clinician for ten years. She became medical director in 2019, supporting SAGE Campbell, and regional medical director in 2020. She joined the Ethos medical leadership team in 2022 when SAGE integrated into Ethos.
When not practicing, Beth enjoys spending time with her family and friends doing outdoor activities like skiing, road biking, and running races. She is the proud owner of an Airedale, Jack, and two cats, Flame and Mewpie. Beth was drawn to veterinary medicine by both her interest in science and her love of animals. Her role as Director of Medical Operations involves supporting and empowering Ethos veterinarians across the West Coast to do the important work of caring for our pet community.
