About

Dr. Eva Borgman, BS, DVM, was born and raised in California! She spent four years getting her undergraduate degree from Cal Poly SLO, and then spent another four years trying to figure out how to drive in the snow while completing her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University. After offloading all of her down jackets and snow boots, she was thrilled to move back to California and complete her rotating internship right here at VSH! Turns out, that wasn’t quite enough for her, and she started her Internal Medicine residency at VSH in June of 2025. 

Her professional interests include endocrine and immune-mediated disease management. But most importantly, her professional interest is anything to do with cats! Outside of the hospital, Eva can be found hiking, running, or rock climbing with her husband. She has two cats at home named Ernie and Panini.
