About

Dr. Yates is originally from Ottawa, Ontario. She obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from St. George's University and completed her DVM clinical year at the University of Minnesota. Following vet school, she completed an internal medicine emphasis rotating internship at Cornell University, before starting her internal medicine residency at Veterinary Specialty Hospital. Dr. Yates' interests within internal medicine include immune-mediated diseases, transfusion medicine, and endoscopy and diagnostic procedures. In her free time, she enjoys surfing, snowboarding, and spending time with her two cats, Fiona and Freddie.
