About

Jennifer Cheng is a local San Diegan born and raised. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Biology, she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University in the Caribbean, completing her clinical year at the University of California, Davis. She then completed a small animal rotating internship at VCA West Los Angeles and is currently pursuing an Emergency and Critical Care residency at VSH Sorrento Valley. Dr. Cheng’s clinical interests include trauma, transfusion medicine, sepsis/SIRS, and electrolyte derangements.

On her free time, she enjoys watching sunsets, cooking intricate dishes, exploring new restaurants and speakeasies, and, of course, relaxing at home with her Shiba Inu, Yuki, and her calico cat, Mina.
