About
Dr. Kaitlyn Dvorack is originally from Calgary, Canada. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Applied Animal Biology at the University of British Columbia before earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Calgary. Following veterinary school, Dr. Dvorack completed a small animal rotating internship at the Calgary Animal Referral & Emergency Centre (CARE Centre). After her internship, she moved to San Diego to pursue a residency in Emergency and Critical Care at Veterinary Specialty Hospital (VSH) Sorrento Valley. Her special interests include shock and hemodynamic support, sepsis, transfusion medicine, and coagulation. She is passionate about managing complex critical care cases and providing compassionate care to patients and their families.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Dvorack enjoys taking advantage of San Diego’s outdoor lifestyle. She can often be found hiking, running, or exploring the coast. She also enjoys traveling and is always looking forward to her next adventure.
