About
Dr. Kyle Chu earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Purdue University. Following veterinary school, he completed a small animal rotating internship at Oklahoma State University and a small animal surgery internship at the Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center. Dr. Chu received further training through a second small animal surgery internship and subsequently a three-year small animal surgery residency at the University of Illinois. Following completion of his residency, he worked as a clinical instructor at the same institution and received board-certification and has been a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons since 2022.
Dr. Chu enjoys all aspects of small animal surgery, but particularly enjoys gastrointestinal surgery, thoracic surgery, fracture repair, and general orthopedic surgery.
Originally from the Los Angeles area, he is excited to be back in Southern California and closer to his friends and family. He enjoys hanging out with his dog Gelpi, golfing, traveling, cooking, and trying different types of food.
