Saves : This year, Mackerel has donated three times, and his blood has made a difference to four other cats! One cat received three units of Mackerel's plasma. This kitty had a genetic condition, hemophilia, which prevented him from forming clots and can cause uncontrollable bleeding. But the kitty needed dental treatment for an infection. Dentals are known to cause some bleeding. So, before his dental procedure, this kitty received three units of Mackerel’s plasma, allowing him to form clots. Thanks to Mackerel, this kitty did not have any problems during his dental cleaning.
