About

Dr. Paula Baya was born in Kenya but raised just outside of Toronto, Canada. Dr. Baya received her Honors Bachelor of Science in Zoology with a Spanish Minor from the University of Guelph,  her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ontario Veterinary College, and completed an Emergency & Critical Care Internship at DoveLewis Emergency Animal Hospital.

Dr. Baya’s clinical interests include anaphylaxis, septic shock, diabetic ketoacidosis, and polytrauma.

In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, boxing, reading, beach-hopping, trying new recipes and foods, and traveling (which she has traveled to 13 countries so far).
