Dr. Perry Koehler obtained both his undergraduate degree and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University. He went on to complete a small rotating internship at the University of Florida and developed a passion for anesthesia and pain management for all animals. Pursuing those interests, he completed a 3-year residency in anesthesia and analgesia at the University of Florida. His primary clinical interests are interventional pain management through locoregional techniques and stabilization of critical patients in the operating room.

After spending most of his life in the South, Dr. Koehler is excited to adventure in Southern California and escape the Florida bugs and humidity. He can't wait to help improve the quality of care provided to patients at VSH. While not in the hospital, he loves to read and is a roller coaster enthusiast.
