Dr. Saya Press is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care. She obtained her Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) in Melbourne, Australia, and following graduation worked for several months in the Small Animal ICU and ER at the University of Melbourne prior to traveling to America to undertake her specialty training. Dr. Press completed a one-year rotating internship at Mississippi State University, followed by a three-year residency in Emergency and Critical Care combined with a Master’s Degree at The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Press finished her residency in 2017 and achieved board certification in the same year, becoming a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care. Her clinical and research interests include transfusion medicine and blood banking, immune mediated disease and sepsis.
